Is the study of "fulfilled Bible prophecy" valuable to Christians today?

I have written many a message on prophecy on line, but this subject stands-out because of recent events in the world today. Prophecy many times in scripture starts out with the words, "In the End Days", or "in the latter times" - we must watch out for these words, to fully understand the prophetic meaning of the end times that we are living in today. This is one of many subjects we will be writing about, until the Lord comes and takes us Home.

The virgin Mary was married. Matthew, But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Peter was married. Matthew 8:14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. Jesus ordained marriage. Matthew. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? This false doctrine, that is taught, comes from these passages that are misinterpreted in Matthew.
